Climate Change, Displacement and Resettlement: Research and Policy Agendas Post-COP 26
Join us on 1 December 2021 for a webinar on Climate Change, Displacement, and Resettlement: Research and Policy Agendas Post-COP 26, hosted by the University of Dundee, Scotland and and jointly organised with the Chr. Michelsen Institute, Norway, and the Norwegian Centre for Humanitarian Studies.

Climate change is increasingly recognised as a major driver of human displacement, but less attention has been paid to the human-environment processes associated with refugee and IDP resettlement. Seeking to fill this gap, this online event brings together experts from academia and policy to discuss current experiences and future projections on climate-induced resettlement.

The session will feature presentations on current and ongoing academic research projects on the social and environmental dynamics of displacement and resettlement, focusing on Uganda, India and Afghanistan. This will be followed by a panel of practitioners, academics and policy makers reflecting on key research and policy agendas for the coming decade.
